I started hunting for this guy back in October. Lego is SO sneaky on when they initially release these guys that if you’re not on top of it, they’re gone before you know they’re even in existence. Sure am glad I started early because this boy’s a real cutie! He looks so sweet in the Lego City town next to the town Christmas tree. He went together pretty quickly too and is a fabulous complement to the Lego Advent set. If you’re looking to complete your village, complete with the Lego Christmas train, don’t pass this guy by if you can find one. We all know stock photos always look better than the real thing. I bought this knowing that. I even assumed the stock photo would look MUCH better than the real thing. So I already had low expectations.

In reality, it is WAY worse than I even imagined.

The other disney tree they have with the 80 characters is much better.

I Purchased this tree last year from the Bradford Exchange. The craftsmanship is great, no doubt about it, every detail was covered in that respect. The characters were captured beautifully with alot of attention/work to make them appear life like. The tree is sturdy, and somewhat fragile, but the build is solid. It's a bit pricey at 199$ plus tax & shipping, it was securely packed and arrived in one piece. My primary complaint is the lighting, it is more of a glow, very dim. I placed this on a table top in front of a picture window, but it wasn't visible from the outside at all. Very dull lights! I thought it would light up bright, and after a few minutes when plugged in, the tree would turn itself off. The music and mechanical parts would cease altogether, although the dim lights would stay glowing. Quite disappointing overall for me. What I was hoping for. I Purchased this tree last year from the Bradford Exchange. The craftsmanship is great, no doubt about it, every detail was covered in that respect. The characters were captured beautifully with alot of attention/work to make them appear life like. The tree is sturdy, and somewhat fragile, but the build is solid. It’s a bit pricey at 199$ plus tax & shipping, it was securely packed and arrived in one piece. My primary complaint is the lighting, it is more of a glow, very dim. I placed this on a table top in front of a picture window, but it wasn’t visible from the outside at all. Very dull lights! I thought it would light up bright, and after a few minutes when plugged in, the tree would turn itself off. The music and mechanical parts would cease altogether, although the dim lights would stay glowing. Quite disappointing overall for me. The stand is green plastic, not metal, and it doesn't give as much height as the tree in the picture. <br/>2. The lights on the tree are multi-colored, not white as shown. <br/>3. The tree isn't as full as shown, and has far fewer branches.<br/><br/>Still, considering that artificial trees are ridiculously expensive these days, (I've seen some go for as high as $900!) this tree is probably the best one you'll get at this price. I've seen a few others at different shops around this price and none were as nice as this one. I can't wait to have a Christmas soiree and make ornaments for it with close friends! This review is from: Charm Tree SW-223-40 “Celebrations” Swiss Fir Prelit Tree 4 Ft. With 100 Multi Colored Lights & 235 Tips (Kitchen)

This tree is definitely a good deal and is charming all lit up, but the picture displayed is a much more expensive version of this product, so I’ve listed the differences:

1. The stand is green plastic, not metal, and it doesn’t give as much height as the tree in the picture.
2. The lights on the tree are multi-colored, not white as shown.
3. The tree isn’t as full as shown, and has far fewer branches.

Still, considering that artificial trees are ridiculously expensive these days, (I’ve seen some go for as high as $900!) this tree is probably the best one you’ll get at this price. I’ve seen a few others at different shops around this price and none were as nice as this one. I can’t wait to have a Christmas soiree and make ornaments for it with close friends!
