This review is from: Jack Post #95-2464 23″4Leg Metal Tree Stand (Kitchen)
We like the LARGER Jack Post stand of this type. Today it’s quite common to grow an 8′ tree and then “trim” the outside surface of the tree to get a uniform 7′ or even 6′ tree. The result is, a short tree with a HUGE tree trunk! This stand only holds a 4″ tree trunk, and this year our 7′ tree has a 4.5″ tree trunk, so we cannot use this stand (believe me, I wanted to, I called 7 stores to find this stand, but they only have the SMALL version.) Our family’s LARGE version lasted 20+ years! So spend an extra $7 bucks and buy a slightly bigger Jack Post Stand of this type, which is more stable and you won’t have to worry about bringing home a tree with a trunk too wide to fit your stand !!
