I have two polls outside of my front door, and I want to wrap Christmas lights around them, but how do you make them stay up? Duck tape is noticeable, plus it wouldn't withhold weather.

try calling your local Hardware store and see if they have answers for you. Some other ways you can try are Stapling your lights to your pole or drilling holes on all four sides of the pole and just wrap the string of lights over each nail. hope this helps and as always, best of luck to you.
